Musical Auditions: “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown”
It’s that time again!!! We will be holding auditions for the spring musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” onThursday, January 28th and Friday, January 29th after school until 4:30 pm. You do not need attend both auditions. If you cannot make either audition date but would still like to try out for the show, please see Mrs. Daning.
There are limited speaking roles in this show so if you are interested in auditioning for a lead youneed to prepare a short song of your choice for auditions. You can sing this acapella or with a music track as long as it does not have the vocal track. Chorus auditions will practice a song from the show at the audition and use that for their vocal audition.
“You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” shows us “an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” The show really is just that, a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine’s Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.
