We start the school year off with a blessing of our campus and we start our new year off with a blessing of each classroom! Today our students “chalked” the doors of each classroom, a centuries-old Catholic tradition, and then received a Eucharistic blessing when Fr. Summerlin came around the whole school. Our students showed great reverence and afterward we heard things like, “That was really peaceful..” and “The school kind of feels different now..” Praise God for our Catholic community that focuses on Jesus in the Sacraments. Tomorrow is First Friday. Adoration and Confession will be available the whole day and our students will be in the Chapel with their Theology classes.
