Dear Parents,

Thank you for all of your continuous support during the grieving process for the passing of Makayla Rush.  The obituary and arrangements for Makayla can be found here.  Our Crisis Intervention Team has met and continues to meet and collaborate with outside agencies for additional resources and support.  

We will be collecting gift cards and monetary donations through the school until Friday, January 27.  Please label the donation “Makayla Rush Memorial.”

Included is a link that may be a helpful resource when talking with children about the subject of death.  Additionally, Administration and Student Services will be available this evening,
Thursday, January 19, from 2:30-7:00 PM to speak with parents.  We will continue to communicate with Makayla’s family to see how the CC community can support the family during this difficult period.  We appreciate your family’s prayers and support.
