INvestEd, https://www.investedindiana.org/  will present a Financial Aid/FAFSA program on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Ivy-Tech Lafayette, Ivy Hall auditorium.  INvestEd is an Indiana not-for-profit and has offered FREE help to families for over 40 years.

Seniors and parent(s) are encouraged to attend, but the presentation is open to all who are interested. Experts from INvestEd will share information on college funding options, the financial aid process and tips for completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on time and accurately.   This is a general information session only, not Purdue or Ivy Tech specific, and we will not be filing the FAFSA on that evening.

College Goal Sunday will be held on two dates, Sunday November 6, 2022 and on Sunday February 26, 2023.  These will also be held locally at Ivy-Tech Lafayette from 2-4 pm.

Students/families will be able to submit a FAFSA at the College Goal Sunday events.  Staff from both Ivy-Tech and Purdue will be on hand to assist families.

2023-24 FAFSA filing will begin as early as October 1, 2022 at https://studentaid.gov/.  It is best that both the student and one parent request a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch prior to filing the FAFSA online.  This step saves a lot of time.
