10th & 11th Graders – the PSAT is TOMORROW!

10th & 11th Graders – the PSAT is TOMORROW!

The PSAT is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12! This test will provide students practice for the SAT, which is required for all 11th graders. The SAT is also one way to meet the third bucket in the graduation pathways, so it is important to take all opportunities to practice seriously (like the PSAT). All 10th and 11th graders take the PSAT each year.

The main group of 11th graders will report to McHale, and the main group of 10th graders will report to Eberle. Students were messaged individually who will report to other rooms, so remind your child to check his/her Schoology messages tonight! Students should report to their testing area by 8:00am. We will start testing promptly at 8:00, so everyone needs to arrive before that time to get set up. Be sure your student gets to bed early tonight and eats a good, protein-packed breakfast tomorrow morning!

Students need to bring a calculator, wooden pencils, and a drink/snack (if they want something specific). We will be providing snacks, but not drinks, and we will have extra pencils if needed. Here are the calculator guidelines. Phones and smart watches will be collected prior to testing if they are brought to the testing room. Students are encouraged to bring a book to read once they finish testing.
