Junior High Parents

We had another great day of ILEARN testing.  ILEARN continues TOMORROW (Thursday)! Next week, testing will be on Tuesday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 15th.  As a reminder, all morning testing will begin at the start of the day and afternoon testing will begin immediately following lunch.  All testing will take place in Eberle gym. Please remind your child to come to school with charged computers and earbuds.  It delays testing when we are scrambling to find extra chargers or sending students back to their lockers for these things.  We appreciate your help with this!

Tips for a Successful Testing Experience

  • Do something you enjoy, like listening to soft music or reading before you go to bed. This will help you relax.

  • Go to bed early and get a good night’s sleep.

  • Wake up a little early so that you don’t have to rush through having breakfast and getting ready in the morning.

  • Eat a balanced breakfast and don’t add anything new to your diet.  Eggs, yogurt, or bananas are always good options.

  • Before leaving home, check that you have everything you will need – especially your CHARGED MacBook, EARBUDS and a book to read (in case you finish early)!

  • If you are testing in the morning – When you arrive to school, head to your designated testing room with plenty of time to spare. A lot of unexpected events can happen on your way there and you do not want to be late!

  • If there are people around who are panicking, avoid them!

  • Use the restroom before the exam starts.
  • Relax, we know you will do great!
