Special Events for the Week of May 16-22

As the 2021-22 school year comes to a close, there are some events and schedule changes parents are welcome to attend and need to be aware of.

Wednesday, May 18

We will celebrate Algebra I teacher, Mrs. Traci Haan, who will be retiring at the end of this school year.   Students will have a Spirit Day and be able to wear a shirt representing one of Mrs. Haan’s favorite sports teams:  Central Catholic, Purdue, Chicago Cubs or Chicago Bears.  Students and families are encouraged to write notes or cards for Mrs. Haan.  These may be turned into the main office before Wednesday.

Thursday, May 19

Because the K-12 Sharing Day had to be canceled during Catholic Schools Week, students in K-6 will be dropped off at CC on Thursday morning.  Bishop Doherty will be saying mass at 9:00 am for the entire LCSS community in McHale Gym. Parents are welcome to attend.

Friday, May 20

Battle of the Classes will be held for grades 9-12 and the junior high will hold Field Day.  Mass on this Friday will begin at approximately 8:15, not at 10:15.  This will be the Senior Class of 2022’s last All School Mass.  Parents are welcome to attend.
