Our 2017 Riding Forward scholarship application site is now live. This year, we “Honor the Past and Create the Future” with our theme by spotlighting the courage of Tuskegee Airman Col. Charles McGee and his fellow airmen as the first African-American aviators who served the United States Armed Forces.
Scholarship applicants will once again be asked to write a 500-word essay about an African-American who has inspired them. Each state within our Regions footprint will have one $5,000 scholarship award winner (high school senior attending college) and one $3,500 award winner (current college undergraduate student).
