Let me begin by thanking you for your assistance last year. I appreciate the effort that each of you put forth to help me secure volunteer judges for the Indianapolis regional competition of Indiana High School Mock Trial. Those of you who were able to serve as volunteer judges were instrumental in providing an important learning experience for our students; those of you who spread the word and encouraged others to get involved ensured that we would have enough judges to allow all of our hard working teams to compete.
This year I hope to prevail upon your generosity by once again asking that you consider volunteering for this wonderful program and encourage others to do so as well. The regional competition will take place at the Indianapolis City/County Building on Saturday, February 11, 2017 with rounds scheduled for 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 pm. Volunteer judges are to arrive one hour prior to each round. The students of Central Catholic High School Mock Trial and I would greatly appreciate any time you have to offer on that day, as you may register to judge just one, two, or all three rounds, as your schedule permits.
Please visit this link to complete the registration form. Be sure to indicate that you wish to volunteer for the Indianapolis preliminary competition and that you are volunteering on behalf of Central Catholic High School in Lafayette.
If you are unable to volunteer, we would appreciate it if you would provide this information to others who may have an interest. Law students and those with extensive Mock Trial experience are also welcome to volunteer! Additionally, the Indiana Bar Foundation is offering CLE credits for participating – please contact me for further information regarding this opportunity.
