We are excited to announce Betsy (Melville) Tuholski as the new St. Francis Early Learning Academy Director! Betsy is a 2005 Central Catholic graduate, having also attended St. Mary and St. Boniface. Following graduation, she went on to study Early Childhood Education, receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Ashford University and her Master’s degree from Indiana University. She comes to the Lafayette Catholic School System with 11 years of experience working in the preschool setting. She worked locally at Head Start and Bright Horizons, before moving to Kokomo to become a teacher and program director at Sts. Joan and Arc and Patrick schools. She also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Early Childhood Education program at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Betsy and her husband, Andy, have a son named Jude. They are active in their home parish of St. Joseph in Delphi. In their free time, they enjoy being outdoors; camping, hiking, and gardening. Betsy is excited to return to the school system she grew up in to join the wonderful staff already in place. Please join us in welcoming Betsy back home as a new member of our team!
