Helping Haiti Donation Coming to an End

Helping Haiti Donation Coming to an End

REMINDER ALL DONATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 28TH

CC ‘15 alumni Anna Marlatt is a third year nursing student at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, and was selected to go on a mission trip to Haiti on spring break with 6 other students, nurses and faculty. They will visit several orphanages, perform medical assessments, administer medications, educate and implement important daily hygiene regiments, and hand out a wide variety of donated items the children desperately need. There are so many ways YOU can help!

Mr. Wagner has agreed to a friendly 10:10 Haiti Donation Competition at CC! Each grade will be assigned a specific category of items to collect in their 10:10 classes, but time is important because all items must be turned in by Wednesday, February 28th. The 10:10 class that collects the most items will receive a pizza party!

The Haiti 10:10 Donation Competition will begin on Monday, February 5th. Each 10:10 class will be given a collection box and every Friday, senior Liz Marlatt will count and collect the items. Liz will post totals and information on Schoology during the competition. The grades and categories are listed below. The items listed are suggestions but not just limited to these ideas. Thank you in advance for your generous donations! Sam’s Club has a great selection on health & beauty items and the larger sizes are perfect for the orphanages!
