Please see below for an announcement from Fr. Tim regarding GermanFest:
Sadly, I have to announce that due to the present and forecasted weather, GermanFest has been canceled for tomorrow evening.
We will still have the vigil Mass on Saturday at 4:00 pm and the GermanFest Mass on Sunday at 9:30 am. We are hopeful that the parking lots will be open by Saturday evening.
We have sold around 500 raffle tickets. We need to reach 1,000 so that we don’t actually lose money as I’ve mentioned so many times before.
Please sell tickets! If you need more, come to the Rectory! We will have our $10,000 raffle tomorrow evening as planned.
Ticket sales at this very moment, are more crucial than ever. Thank you for your dedication to St. Boniface. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for your prayers.
We are also selling many of our food items, including:
- GraceAnn Brautsman’s chocolate amaretto pies
- Potato pancakes made by the Central Catholic GermanClub (bags of 20)
- Cake balls
- Fudge (in 1/4 lb amounts)
- Water and Soda
- And more items
The sale of the food items will take place in the St. Boniface gym after each of the Masses this weekend. The Mass times are 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., & 12:15 p.m. on Sunday.
