We are all called to BE SAINTS. As a school community we have been working this year on doing that by specifically focusing on how we speak. If I am honest, I personally started out strong, but have not done so well lately. I don’t know about you, but I need to refocus on this. So I was thinking, we learn to speak by listening. We also learn to SPEAK LOVE by listening to love. Love may be spoken to us by many different people, but it is always spoken to us by God…are you listening?
This Lent we want to challenge you and your children to immerse yourselves in Scripture…listen to God speak love to your heart! We will offer many ways to do this here at school, but don’t hesitate to find another way that works for you and your family at home (or in the car) as well. Challenge yourself to read Scripture daily on your own…read and pray with the Psalms or one of the Gospels..go to daily Mass…find someone who will walk this Christian journey with you and help hold you accountable.
