Congratulations to eighth-grader Jace Rogers, who finished fifth at the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 4.

            Jace, who represented Central Catholic as the school spelling bee champion, made it to the ninth round and beat out 24 other school champions. This was the best performance in many years by a CC student at the regional spelling bee.
