Central Catholic , along with Ancilla College, would like to congratulate Jarret Whitehead on signing a National Letter of Intent to become part of the Ancilla Charger Men’s Bowling Team next year! Jarret signed his National Letter of Intent in front of lots of friends and family at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl. Jarret chose Ancilla because of the small school size and because it is a catholic school. After Jarret’s first one-on-one meeting with Coach Al Franklin, he noticed his game improve immediately. Tom Taylor, one of Jarret’s bowling coaches, mentioned that he has been an awesome student of the game and he’s glad he had the chance to mentor Jarret. Jarret’s parents, Eric and Charla Whitehead, said they are so proud of their son being given the opportunity to continue his education at Ancilla College as well as being in the hands of a good coach in Coach Al Franklin. Jarret finished a stellar career bowling for Central Catholic HS bowling team where he was Team Captain. Jarret brings a great mental and athletic game to Ancilla Charger bowling especially standing 6’7″ tall commented Coach Al Franklin. From the moment I met him I knew I wanted to sign him. His personality and being well grounded was a plus for me, not to mention he has a knowledge of the game and also pro-shop experience. We are happy to see Jarret join the Ancilla Charger family and wish him nothing but success in the future!
