Purdue is offering a FREE “Innovation to Reality” (I2R) program with hands-on engineering and science activities for 6th – 8th grade students (girls and boys).

Fall 2018 Session:  Engineering Efficiency in Transportation

4-Week Program: Thursdays, October 25 –  November 15

6:00 – 8:30 p.m. @ Purdue’s West Lafayette Campus

150 years ago, our main source of transportation was by foot or by horse.  Today, we can travel thousands of miles with nothing more than the click of a mouse.  This Fall, I2R is celebrating Purdue’s150th anniversary by looking at how far engineering has taken our systems of transportation and how we can engineer them to be even more efficient in the next 150 years.  Journey with us as we explore how engineers transform these systems and the boats, rockets, and automobiles that take us across the globe and beyond!

To apply, click here:  I2R Application   Please note:  Participants are expected to be at all 4 sessions in order to be accepted into the program

Application deadline is Friday, October 5th.  Participants will be notified of acceptance by October 11th.
