Criminal Justice Day on Campus

Criminal Justice Day on Campus

This exhibition will occur Thursday, April 19, 2018, 9:00 AM -12:00 PM on the Ivy Tech campus. Criminal Justice Day provides a unique opportunity for college students, high school law enforcement/JAG classes, dual-credit students and elementary-junior high students to meet with local, state, and federal criminal justice professionals in one location.  Students can explore a wide-variety of criminal justice careers and engage in some hands-on learning activities.

Participating agencies will set-up displays, equipment, and provide personnel to promote their respective agency.  This event provides students an interactive opportunity for career exploration, experiential learning, and college transfer information.  The event will occur on the grounds outside of Ivy Hall and in the Grand Hallway of the main building.  The demonstration schedule includes two K9 demonstrations (patrol and drugs/bombs), drone presentations, and child fingerprinting.

We cordially invite your students to participate in this exclusive criminal justice event.  To register, please email Traci Robbins at trobbins58@ivytech.edu by Monday, April 2nd.  We look forward to sharing this exciting event with your students!
